Ubisoft narrowed the release date for Splinter Cell: Conviction to Q3 of this fiscal year (between November 2009 between December 2009) in a conference call this morning.

Update
I haven't posted anything in a few days due to a personal situation that should be resolved within a few days at the most. In the meanwhile, I have been reading Max Brooks' fantastic book World War Z and have noticed a few things already that I will be posting once I get the chance.
In other news, I found this on Marvel Comics editor Tom Brevoort's blog:
So while our writers don't devalue their ideas, they're also not super-precious with them--there's an underlying belief that, tomorrow, they'll be able to come up with some moer ideas that'll be just as good.
